Travis Hill is a 31 year old student from Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. He chooses to dedicate his summer to mentoring, guiding and leading college interns in ministering to inner city youth. He speaks into Reconciliation Outreach’s vision of transforming generations and says,

“Making disciples is something that has been passed down to generations for over 2,000 years. It started with Jesus’ disciples who obeyed the Great Commission, and someone did something right because I am fortunate enough to know the Gospel. Now I share it and I want it to be passed down 2,000 years from now. I get to pass it down to the interns and to the youth and hope that they’ll diligently disciple whoever falls under their leadership.”

Travis’ heart aligns with our vision and mission, and named this program Project 5:10 based on Romans 5:10 which states, “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” Travis is adamant about making sure the community is not only reconciled to each other, but reconciled to the Father. “Then and only then can lasting reconciliation happen.”
